Rancho Cordova is home base. A lot of the newer homes in Anatolia, Montelena and Rio del Oro were handed over with a builder slab off the slider and bare dirt everywhere else. A full backyard patio with a seat wall, a side-yard path and a clean edge to the planting beds is the most common project here.

Ground conditions change across town. Some areas have dense hardpan a short way down that holds water, others have rocky fill from the old dredge fields near the river. We dig a test spot at the estimate so the base and drainage are planned for what is actually under your yard.

Most newer neighborhoods have an HOA that reviews backyard and front-yard plans. We put together the drawing and product specs they ask for, and permits go through the City of Rancho Cordova when they are needed.
